Tankless Water Heater Tax Credit
Take advantage of energy tax credits by replacing a traditional tank water heater with a Noritz tankless water heater. Currently, the United States is the world's largest energy consumer in the world, and for that reason is also the largest source of pollution. No wonder there is a great tankless water heater tax credit in place, but only for 2010. Earning the Energy Star® means products meet strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. By purchasing a Noritz energy star tankless water heater and taking steps to optimize the performance of heating equipment, you are helping to prevent global warming.
For 2010, there is now an available tankless heater tax credit of up to $1500 to individuals who install a Noritz energy star tankless in their home or business. There are three categories of eligibility for the tankless heater tax credit:
- Water heater tax credit for consumers: home improvements through the purchase and installation of a Noritz tankless water heater
- Water heater tax credit for homebuilders: installation of Noritz tankless water heaters for new home construction
- Water heater tax credit for commercial building owners: installation of Noritz water heaters, for new construction or replacement
