Energy Tax Credits2010 energy tax credits for tankless water heaters are coming to a close. Take advantage of the current IRS energy tax credit today or risk missing out on valuable energy tax credits. Earning the ENERGY STAR means Noritz tankless water heaters meet strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. All Noritz tankless water heater models are ENERGY STAR certified for 2010, and eligible for 2010 energy tax credits of up to $1500 to individuals who install a Noritz energy star tankless unit in their home or business. There are three categories of eligibility for the energy tax credit:
ENERGY STAR® rated appliances use 7-10 percent less energy than non-rated appliances, and can save the user money throughout the life of the product. Noritz water heaters are installed by certified technicians, ensuring sizing and installation of your water heater is done correctly. A Noritz energy star tankless water heater will achieve around a 30 percent reduction in energy use and save consumers approximately $108 annually, compared to a traditional tank water heater. Not to mention the savings with the IRS energy tax credit. Replacing a traditional tank water heater with a Noritz tankless water heater will greatly reduce the levels of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere by at least 700 lbs. per year.
