Noritz has been an innovator in the water heating industry for over 60 years. We introduced the first modern, electronically controlled tankless water heater in 1981 and we remain the leader in energy savings and superior hot water delivery today.

OUR HISTORY

CURRENT
Noritz completed its full condensing line by adding NRC83 (16,000 btuh – 157,000 btuh) unit.

Noritz America celebrates the tenth anniversary of its entry into the U.S. tankless water heating market! To celebrate, Noritz America Corporation unveils a 10-month contractor appreciation promotion designed to recognize and reward members of its ongoing PROCard Program, as well as to recruit additional professional installers to the group.

2011
Noritz introduced its lowest btuh unit (120,000 btuh) – perfect for small-size homes – NR50 outdoor unit

Noritz introduced the DV->SV conversion kit, which converts the water heater from a direct vent system to a standard vent system, as part of the new condensing unit, NRC98 (16,000 btuh – 180,000 btuh). It vents up to 60+ feet with 3” or 4” PVC!

2010
Noritz introduces its first LowNOx heater unit: NR83-DVC (18,000 btuh – 180,000 btuh)

2009
Noritz introduces its second CONDENSING unit, the N-0842MC series. Features a built-in neutralizer and 3″ or 4″ PVC vent options.

2008
Noritz introduces tankless industry’s highest performing concentric vent pipe unit, N-0751M-DVC.
Noritz Opens New York branch office with a beautiful tankless showroom on August 4, 2008.
Noritz America introduces its first CONDENSING tankless water heater, N-0841MC series.

2007
Noritz America Corporation HQ relocates to a brand new 60,000 sq/ft facility in Fountain Valley, CA with the largest tankless showroom in the U.S. opens to public on May 7, 2007.

Noritz America Corporation opens a Chicago branch location with a tankless showroom on August 23, 2007.

2006
1st tankless company in the world to offer ASME Certified commercial models.

Noritz America introduces N-063S-OD and N-069M-OD models.

Second U.S. regional branch opens in Dallas, TX

2005
Addition of 3 more water heaters: a Residential Direct Vent and (2) Outdoor Recess Package models

Noritz America introduces its own Stainless Steel venting, the N-Vent line

First U.S. regional branch opens in Atlanta, GA

2004
Noritz America adds 4 new tankless water heaters to its product line – the M and S-Series

Full line of services valves for tankless water heaters added to accessory line

Noritz America introduces the first Commercial Grade, Direct Vent tankless water heater in the industry

2003
“Always Hot” slogan and promotion introduced in first nationwide advertising campaign.

PROCard promotional program launched
